Oh I love this! As someone who reads on vacation all the time anyway, I've never thought about what makes one vacation better for reading vs another.

Two things I am now going to be thinking about year-round, thanks to this newsletter: (1) how to take a reading vacation of my own and (2) blue corn waffles.

I signed up for the Ladies Who Lit retreat in Mallorca next year, and I’m excited to try out a trip planned for me and based around having ample time to read! (Also, yes, very expensive. ~1k/day)

Love this! I use a beach house as my reading retreat - it's SO nice to step away from the Netflix lol! Also, I noticed last week I was tagged in a post from a cruise ship who pimped out my book, To Sicily with Love, for one of their destination cruises. Which was really cool?! So they're using books now to lure readers and I think it's the best.

Awesome, inspiring post! I love Cambria--great choice (I'm from Ojai, which would probably also make a good reading retreat location).

As someone who sells books in a touristy town this really got my wheels turning about how to partner with local tour businesses! Thanks for the dive into this!
